Unresolved trauma can manifest in various challenges later in life such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and broken relationships, making it difficult to move forward. The grief from losing a loved one, especially through sudden or violent circumstances, can be overwhelming. While the healing process may seem daunting, taking that first step is crucial. Carrying the weight of trauma or grief indefinitely is far more painful than seeking the support needed for recovery.
When you or a family member chooses a different path in life, it can lead to confusion, guilt, anger, and isolation. Whether it’s related to religion, sexual identity, addiction, incarceration, or cultural differences, these issues can create tension and misunderstanding within families. Family opposition can leave you feeling alienated and lost. In therapy, there is no judgment, only support as you heal and build confidence.

Dr. Stone has been described by clients and colleagues as kind, compassionate, direct and liberal with a huge cache of life experience. Most clients just call her Deb which she prefers. Deb is solution-oriented and very open-minded. One of Deb's greatest joys is seeing people overcome the obstacles that have kept them from being the person they have wanted to be.
You can make an appointment by sending Deb an email at deb@talktomedeb.com . You can also click on one of the three buttons to send a quick email that addresses certain areas of concern. Teletherapy has proven to be convenient and easy for even the most technology challenged individual. It can be done from a phone, computer or tablet, and saves on travel time and expense. Once you have tried it, you will probably prefer it.
Teletherapy appointments should be treated as if they are in-person and conducted in an appropriate space. You could have your visit canceled if you show up for your appointment lying down or in bed unless you have a condition that inhibits your ability to walk or sit in a chair.
Credit/debit cards and Venmo are accepted.
The rate for an initial 50-minute intake appointment is $195. Ongoing therapy appointments are $150 per 50-minute session. For individuals seeking ADHD testing, the cost is $275. This includes a comprehensive evaluation and a verification letter that can be provided to your doctor if the results indicate an ADHD diagnosis.
I do not provide Disability Determination letters or evaluations, and I do not make court appearances.
